Contour provides cleaner easy-access showers

For people with limited mobility, getting in and out of a bath or a shower can be a daunting experience.

Biomaster partner Contour Showers, UK specialists for disabled bathrooms and walk-in wetroom showers since 1959, has launched a new website to help guide customers to choosing the right shower solution for your disability and bathroom.

The new website and accompanying brochure list a variety of shower aids to make life easier and provide easy access walk-in shower and wheelchair accessible solutions for the elderly and those with disabilities.

The website covers all aspects of disabled showering from level access shower trays, wetrooms, wheelchair accessible showers, disabled shower seats to shower cubicles, together with a comprehensive selection of easy access, made to measure half height shower doors.

Contour shower trays also contain built-in Biomaster antibacterial protection, designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria.

When bacteria come into contact with the shower tray surface, Biomaster prevents them from growing, producing energy or replicating, therefore they die, keeping shower trays fresher for longer.

The protection works 24/7 for the lifetime of the product.

Contour Showers Marketing Manager Marc Smith says: “Biomaster antibacterial protection is a unique and effective product, yet few people are aware of the additional hygiene benefits it can provide for showering facilities.

All Contour shower trays exclusively incorporate Biomaster antibacterial protection which is built-in to our shower trays during the manufacturing process to provide continuous protection, and are ideal for use in shower areas of high activity with continual shared usage.

It is our aim to have Contour shower trays featuring Biomaster established and recognised as the only shower tray to be considered to provide continuous protection against harmful bacteria within the adapted bathroom.”
